Welcome to the website of Nadine Sebai, freelance radio reporter and filmmaker living in Providence, RI.
Sebai is currently co-directing System Disrupted, a feature documentary about her struggle with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), a rare disabling disease that causes seizures and various cognitive disruptions. She also manages NavigatingFND, providing resources to patients and caregivers with the condition. Most recently, Sebai worked as a reporter for The Public's Radio. She and fellow TPR reporter Nina Sparling published Underage & Unprotected in partnership with PBS FRONTLINE. This groundbreaking investigative series shed light on the plight of immigrant teenagers working in New Bedford seafood processing facilities, highlighting critical labor issues. Sebai's voice has been heard on NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered, as well as Here & Now, WBUR, WGBH, KQED, and numerous stations across New England. Prior to becoming a journalist, Sebai worked as an accountant and investigative analyst.
